I just flipped open the March 2012 issue of Style at Home and saw this very beautiful and innovative way of ”expanding” your closet space.
I love the idea of using cornice molding as a place to hang glamorous shoes and bags so they can be admired in between outings. It also keeps them nicely organized and never at risk of being forgotten at the back of the closet. The cornice can support clothes hangers, making some room for putting blouses and dresses on display too.
To me this is the perfect DIY project as it’s quick and easy, functional and wall art all rolled into one. Best of all, it can be made to fit any wall space you have and, if need be, can grow with your collection.
