If you haven’t seen the HGTV 2013 Dream Home on Kiawah Island, you’ve got to check it out! Judging from the photos it’s a beautiful blend of elegance and comfort with great use of color.
The guest bedroom first caught my eye with its deep blue accents. As the main color in my own bedroom is a rich blue, I love seeing how they’ve worked it into this room. The wall color is also interesting and I’m tempted to get a tester of their shade to try on my own walls.

We first got a look inside Courtney Cox’s beautiful Malibu home in Elle Decor over a year ago and I’m still in awe. This photo (all photos by Simon Upton for Elle Decor) gives us a view of her kitchen sitting area where I find perfection in every detail. I love its clean lines and warm, elegant, natural look with the bonus that it appears to completely open up to a terrace.
