For the past couple of days the weather has been overcast and on the chilly side. Today, even though we’re in the last week of April, the clouds are threatening to sprinkle some snow! Nevertheless, around our neighborhood the Spring flowers, like these pansies in such beautiful shades of violet, are putting on their best show.

Although Spring is just around the corner, I’m finding it really hard to wait for the tulip bulbs to start sprouting and green leaves and buds to begin popping out. So, I’ve been on the lookout for decorative ways to bring signs of Spring inside my home, especially now that Christmas and Valentine’s day are over and done with. A beautiful bouquet of cut flowers is always a quick and easy solution, but I have some other suggestions.
